Seeing as I am smack-dab in the middle of the Houston International Quilt Festival right now, I thought it would be fun to celebrate all things patchwork this month.
You all know how much I love beautiful quilts and all the workmanship and skill that goes into making them, so it should come as no surprise that we are checking out the magic of cutting up little pieces of fabric and then meticulously reassembling them.
However, this is Sad Patterns and I would be totally in the wrong if I didn’t showcase the darker and more depressing sides of fabric assembly.

If by “angel pyramid,” you mean, “cookie-cutter-clothespin figures with upside down airplane wings strapped to their backs,” then yes, it’s an angel pyramid, BIG TIME!
Also, is that cabin in the water?
I’ve heard of lake-front property, but this is ridiculous!
